When low energy costs can make a difference.

Water and wastewater treatment units that use cheap energy sources. The Cool and Hot Water / Steam Vacuum Evaporator family use excess hot water or steam available from co-generation or cooling units. Operating costs are reduced by using already existing external surplus energy. .

This series of vacuum evaporators can handle many different types of wastewater.
Scaling is virtually prevented thanks to the forced circulation.
The vacuum evaporators are available in two ranges using different heat transfer technologies:

EW Series
with external heat exchanger and forced circulation
Purify general purpose vacuum evaporator at very low operating costs.

RW Series
Scraper system vacuum evaporator
Designed to treat wastewater with a very high solids content. The RW series is often used to further concentrate concentrates.

• Benefits
Vacuum 4 – 30 kPa
• Low boiling point 30 – 70 ° C
• Electric energy 12-30 kWh / ton distillate
• Energy from hot water / steam 300/600 kWh / ton distillate
• Energy from co-generation or cooling units

EW Serie

Equipped with an external heat exchanger and forced circulation
EW series evaporators for wastewater treatment is the hot/cold water evaporators with forced circulation and external shell & tube heat exchanger. The heat necessary to boil the wastewater is supplied by hot water running into the heat exchanger; the cooling necessary to condensate the steam is supplied by cold water running into the heat exchanger at the top of the boiling chamber.

RW Series

Scraper system vacuum evaporator
Designed to treat a high concentration of solids, RW series evaporators for wastewater treatment often follows a primary evaporator in series to provide further concentration or crystallization of the concentrate.
